Motorola's Aura has been spotted out there for quite a while now, yet the company only managed to showcase this beauty at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. According to the manufacturer, the design of the handset has been inspired by classic timepieces, and it comes as a swivel phone, which is reported to be using high-end materials.

[ADMARk=1]The casing of the Motorola Aura is made out of stainless steel and features a textured pattern. The maker stated that the sculpt, etch, and polish of the skin would take about two weeks to finish. Undoubtedly, Motorola managed to develop a gorgeous phone, which is also stated to pack engineering advancements. From what we've learned, the price tag of the handset is set at $2000.

The Motorola Aura comes with a circular LCD screen that could be seen as unusual for a phone. It has Swiss bearings and sapphire crystal face, which can be considered a rather striking feature, and the circular screen is complemented in a nice manner by the user interface of the device.

On the exterior, the phone also features a camera shutter and a volume rocker, as well as the standard Moto smart key. The keypad of the device is relatively spacious and flush, yet it seems to be rather prone to smudges and fingerprints. The handset includes a memory card slot, which has been placed behind the battery cover.

The specification list of the Motorola Aura includes a 2-megapixel camera, a music player, stereo Bluetooth, Motorola’s CrystalTalk, messaging, a speakerphone, and an open-source browser. Of course, they might not look too impressive, and there are better phones on the market for sure, yet the design of the device is eye catching.

Take a look at the pictures to see how great this handset looks. More about Motorola Aura can be found on the company's site.
