Two new handsets from Motorola have recently surfaced to the Web, although they haven't been yet officially announced, namely the Motorola A455 and Motorola Evoke QA4, and from their specification lists we can tell that we're not looking at high-end mobile phones.

The new Motorola Rival A455 has been previously spotted in the wild under the name Motorola Rush 2. The phone is expected to come to Verizon's lineup featuring a touchscreen display and a full sliding QWERTY keyboard. For the time being, it seems that the screen size of the device is unknown, yet a series of other specs are already available.

Motorola Rival A455 is expected to feature dual-band CDMA connectivity (800/1900 MHz) with 1X/EV-DO, as well as stereo Bluetooth support and VZ Navigator, which would also suggest that it comes with GPS. In addition, there is also a 3.5mm headset jack, MP3 player, e-mail and Instant Messaging capabilities, USB 2.0 connectivity, and microSD/SDHC memory card slot for additional storage space. The phone also comes with a 2-megapixel photo snapper, while measuring 97 x 51 x 18 mm and weighing 125 grams.

The second device, Motorola Evoke QA4, also features support for CDMA / EV-DO Rev. A, so we might see this phone on Verizon as well. It also features a touchscreen display, but, unlike A455, it comes with a virtual QWERTY keyboard. No details on screen resolution are available with this one either.

Other specs of the handset include Bluetooth with A2DP, MP3 player, E-mail, Instant Messaging, Voice recognition, a 2-magapixel camera with video recording capabilities, as well as a MicroSD / MicroSDHC memory card slot. The Motorola Evoke QA4 measures 108 x 50.5 x 17.5 mm and weighs 128 grams.

For the time being, there is no specific information on the availability of the new devices or on the price tags they will feature.
