Initially priced in India for Rs 33,990 (665 USD or 520 EUR), Motorola RAZR got a consistent price cut in early February to Rs 29,990 (585 USD or 460 EUR).

However, it appears the smartphone is not among the popular Android devices available in India, which is why the handset manufacturer decided to slash the RAZR’s suggested retail price once again.

The guys over at AndroidOS have just been tipped that online retailer Flipkart is now selling the Motorola RAZR slightly cheaper.

Although the new price cut is rather small to make it count, at least customers are paying a bit less than its original Rs 29,990 (585 USD or 460 EUR) value.

Starting today, Indian customers who wish to purchase the Motorola RAZR will be able to do so via Flipkart for only Rs 27,749 (540 USD or 405 EUR) off-contract.

In return, they will receive an Android 2.3 Gingerbread smartphone, which is upgradeable to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

According to Motorola, the RAZR is scheduled for a Q2/Q3 upgrade, though no exact release date is available for the moment.

The smartphone is powered by a dual core TI OMAP 4430 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, as well as a PowerVR SGX540 graphics processing unit and 1GB of RAM.

On the inside, Motorola RAZR packs 16GB of internal memory, which can be expanded via microSD card up to 32GB.

Another strong point of the device is the hyper-vibrant 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Advanced capacitive touchscreen display that supports qHD (540 x 960 pixels) resolution, and features Corning Gorilla Glass coating.

The main 8-megapixel camera on the back of the phone features autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording, while the secondary 1.3-megapixel front facing camera is perfect for video chats with friends and family.

It’s likely that other Indian retailers will cut their prices on Motorola RAZR as well, though the amount might be different than Flipkart’s offering.
