Motorola RAZR has just arrived in Romania hot on heels of Galaxy Nexus, which was introduced in stores several days ago.

Motorola’s Android flagship smartphone is now available for purchase via Vodafone for a suggested retail price of 529 EUR (685 USD). Customers who are willing to commit to a new two-year agreement can grab the RAZR for as low as 249 EUR (325 USD).

Although the phone’s retail price seems to be in line with the rest of the countries, the cost of the device on a long term contract is a bit steep especially that the Galaxy Nexus is much cheaper and probably a better alternative in this case.

Romanian customers can purchase the Galaxy Nexus through Vodafone for a suggested retail price of 569 EUR (740 USD) or 169 EUR (220 USD) with a new two-year agreement.

Anyway, those willing to shell out 250 EUR (325 USD) for the Motorola RAZR should know that the handset maker confirmed plans to upgrade the phone’s software sometime next year.

Currently, the RAZR is delivered with Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread operating system. In addition, the phone comes pre-loaded with a special MotoCast application that allows users to stream and/or download content from a PC directly on their phones.

Design-wise, Motorola RAZR is a masterpiece. The phone is 7.1mm thin and features KEVLAR fiber, Corning Gorilla Glass and splash-guard coating on the inside.

Equipped with a dual core TI OMAP 4430 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz and 1GB of RAM, Motorola RAZR offers users a blazing fast browsing experience and the possibility to multi-task like never before.

The smartphone packs 16GB onboard memory, which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card slot. There’s also an 8-megapixel camera on the back with LED flash and autofocus, as well as a secondary 1.3-megapixel front facing camera for video calls.
