14 DAY TRIAL // Motorola RAZR HD, one of the latest Android-based smartphones that mobile phone maker Motorola Mobility has unveiled to the world, is expected to make an official appearance on shelves in Germany starting with the next month.
In fact, the handset vendor has already confirmed that it would have the phone available on the network of O2, and that it would be priced at €549 (around $720).
The new smartphone has been built for action, Motorola notes. It comes with a 4.7-inch HD touchscreen display, complemented by a powerful application processor, and can deliver great performance levels.
The smartphone was packed with a 1.5GHz CPU and features an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, capable of recording videos in full HD resolution.
Moreover, it comes with increased protection of both the touchscreen, courtesy of Corning Gorilla Glass coating, and the body, via DuPont KEVLAR fiber and splash-guard coating.
The phone also includes a long-lasting battery inside, so that users could get the most out of their devices when they need it.
All the usual set of features found in today’s smartphones have been included in Motorola RAZR HD too, such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, GPS receiver, the whole range of sensors, and the like.
“Motorola RAZR HD will keep you out all night. Take in up to 7 hours of your favorite YouTube shows or listen to 20 hours of your favorite streaming music,” Motorola notes.
“Surf the super-fast Chrome for Android browser for 6 hours or chat for 16 hours straight. And that’s just the start. With SMARTACTIONS, you can extend the long-lasting battery even more and keep the phone going long after the movie ends.”
Running under Google’ Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, the smartphone comes with support for a wide range of applications and games that are available for download via the Google Play Store.
Not to mention that it arrives on shelves with various software already loaded on it, including Chrome for Android, Google Maps, Voice Actions for Android, Google+, or YouTube HD.
