The rumor started crawling around (again) because of some leaked pictures.

I don't know if you still remember, but on November 16th, we got to hear some rumors about an upcoming Motorola Q Pro that was supposedly announced by the American mobile phone manufacturer at the Gartner Symposium Itxpo. It seems the rumor is partially confirmed because the black elusive smartphone has been spotted and photographed somewhere in Hungary.

The pictures that have recently leaked on the Internet show the Q Pro aka the "Motorola Norman" in all its splendor, with a nice looking black suit that is hopefully hiding a new and a more impressing spec sheet.

The phone has a somewhat changed design compared to its older version and from the info gathered from the mentioned pictures, we can say that it will have a flatter QWERTY keyboard, with some extra shortcuts in between (to the calendar, contact list, media player, camera and volume control), new volume buttons that replace the scroll wheel and, the biggest surprise, a big and shiny red Vodafone logo on the back.

Besides the obvious exterior improvements, the Q Pro is rumored to have the MOTOPRO Mobility Suite that comes with the extra capability of remote device management, application management and also the possibility to disable the integrated digital camera, plus a pre-installed firewall, intrusion detection, data encryption for secure emailing/messaging, miniUSB connector, a 2 megapixel camera, the latest version of the Windows Mobile operating system, GSM/GPRS/EDGE/UMTS/HSPDA/W-LAN connectivity and virtual private network connectivity that will offer authentication support.

Let's just hope that this time the "if it's too good to be true than probably it isn't" saying won't get to be confirmed and we'll have the chance to get our hands on it on the release date that should be somewhere in the first quarter of 2007 if the rumors will prove to be the actual truth.
