Motorola Q was up until now only available in the standard silver or black colors and now, to complete the series, there is also a white version of the handheld available.

Aside from the color change which doesn't really mean much for the type of user that is interested in getting a Motorola Q, the handset comes with a stylish design and several voice, messaging and entertainment features in a sleek and slim case.

It has been declared the world's slimmest QWERTY keyboard mobile phone and will most likely not be inconvenient at all while carried in a pocket or bag.

The handhled is Windows Mobile 5.0 powered and includes features like Bluetooth and IrDA for connectivity, a 1.3 megapixel camera with video recording capabilities, support for a large number of audio file formats including MIDI, MP3, AAC, WAV, WMA and WAX and H.263, MPEG4, GSM-AMR and WMV video file formats.

The Q also comes equipped with a large 65k color display with a 320 x 240 pixel resolution, PIM functionality with Picture Caller ID, advanced speech recognition, speakerphone and a MiniSD card slot for memory expansion which is more than useful nowadays.

While it looks like the white version of Motorola Q exists, there is no information on the wireless carrier that it's available on. While on Verizon, the black Q was $50 extra compared to the plain silver one, there's also the possibility that the white Q will cost a little more than the others.

While some may be interested in the white version of the Q, most people will probably be completely preoccupied with the Motorola Q2's launch at the 3GSM event in Barcelona.
