One four videos, to be more precise

Mobile phone maker Motorola has been rumored not too long ago to be working on a new handset that should run under Google's Android operating system, while also boasting connectivity support for Sprint Nextel's iDEN network, the Motorola Opus One. For the time being, there are no exact details on whether the handset will arrive on the market under this name, but there are four videos available with it, offering you the possibility to taste a little of what it can offer.

The handset seems to be on its way to become one of the nicest push-to-talk devices that Nextel of Boost Mobile users have enjoyed so far. Motorola Opus One is reportedly running under the Android 1.5 (Cupcake) flavor of Google's platform, while also including the MotoBlur solution from the handset vendor, meant to enhance the taste a little more.

At the same time, as Engadget notes, iDEN is as good as confirmed on the phone, and the same would apply to the 5-megapixel photo snapper on its back. According to android.hdblog.it, the model name “p1_opusone” can be seen behind the battery cover, which confirms the codename, and might also suggest that this would be the market name for the handset. A quick look at the four videos below will show you a little more on the Android-based iDEN phone from Motorola, that's for sure.

For what it's worth, it should be interesting to see Motorola launching the handset as Opus One on the market. Those of you who kept an eye on the news during the past few days should know already that HTC is also said to plan delivering in the near future a Nexus One handset to the market, running under the Google's Android OS (though the 2.1 version). Being packed on 'DROID' and 'One' handsets should help Android gain even more market share than it is already expected to gain, it seems.
