Motorola and Flipkart have already confirmed they will officially introduce the Moto G in India on February 5. Moreover, the smartphone is expected to go on sale the same day for around Rs 15,000 ($240 / €175) outright.

Although the Moto G’s price tag has yet to be confirmed, it’s highly unlikely the smartphone will cost more than Rs 15,000. However, Flipkart won’t be the only Indian retailer to offer the Moto G.

BGR India reports that online retailer Snapdeal has just listed the Motorola Moto G on its website, but the smartphone appears with the “Sold out” tagline attached to it.

Obviously, this is just a placeholder meant to inform customers the Moto G will eventually arrive at Snapdeal as well. The bad news is the handsets won’t be available until the third week of February.

Until then, it appears that Flipkart will be the exclusive retailer to offer the Motorola Moto G in India. Motorola signed agreements with multiple online retailers for the launch of Moto G in India, and Flipkart seems to have been able to obtain exclusivity over the device for two weeks.

Customers who decided to wait until the Moto G arrives at Snapdeal will also receive the following goodies: free Airtel 1GB 3G data, free 1-year accidental warranty, free 1-year extended support warranty and a free back panel case.

Word is Motorola decided to sell the Moto G in India exclusively online, so customers will probably not be able to grab it via brick and mortar stores.

It is also worth mentioning that Android fans and enthusiasts in India will be able to but the dual-SIM version of Moto G, though it’s unclear whether or not Motorola will launch both 8GB and 16GB models at the same time.

This is very important as Motorola Moto G only packs 8GB or 16GB of internal memory and lacks microSD card slot for memory expansion.

Also, keep in mind that the smartphone will ship with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box, but an upgrade to KitKat should be available for download shortly after.
