No word on price, but it will only be available commitment-free

One of the few US-based carriers that have yet to launch Motorola's amazingly popular Moto G smartphone, US Cellular is likely to fix that in the next couple of days.

The folks over at AndroidCentral got their hands on a US Cellular internal document, which confirms that Motorola Moto G will go on sale at the carrier on February 10.

Although there are no details on the smartphone's price tag, it will only be available commitment-free. We suspect that the Moto G will not be priced above $200 (€147) at US Cellular, especially due to the fact that the unlocked version is already selling in the United States for only $179 (€132).

We're also not sure whether the US Cellular Moto G will ship with KitKat platform onboard or it will be powered by Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box.

Either way, Motorola has already pushed the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for Moto G, so the US Cellular variant might get it pretty soon as well.

It is also worth mentioning that Motorola will only launch the single-SIM version of Moto G. Although it's not specified in the document, the dual-SIM model is aimed at emerging markets, so it won't arrive in the United States and it surely won't be offered by a carrier.

For those unfamiliar with Motorola's Moto G specs sheet, here is a quick recap. The smartphone is equipped with a decent 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, which is complemented by an Adreno 305 graphics processing unit and 1GB of RAM.

The smartphone comes in two versions: 8GB and 16GB. The bad news is that the device does not pack microSD card slot for memory expansion, but users will receive 50GB of free cloud storage for 2 years via Google Drive.

The Moto G sports a large 4.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution and features Corning Gorilla Glass 3 coating. It also features a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 1.3-megapixel secondary camera in the front.
