The time has finally come for Android fans and enthusiasts in India to grab the most affordable Android smartphone launched on the market by Motorola, the Moto E.

Officially unveiled yesterday in several countries, the Moto E has been confirmed to arrive in India exclusively through Flipkart. This is the third Motorola smartphone launched in India that is exclusive to Flipkart, after the retailer offered the Moto G and Moto X earlier this year.

However, given the circumstances, we expect the Moto E to be the most successful Android smartphone released in India by Motorola. Due to its low price tag, Motorola Moto E will certainly sell better than its predecessor, the Moto G.

Although the initial rumors pointed to a possible price of Rs 8,499 ($140 / €105) outright, Motorola has introduced the Moto E for only Rs 6,999 ($115 / €85) upfront, which looks like a great deal judging by the phone’s specs sheet.

As expected, Flipkart also offers a few deals to those purchasing the Motorola Moto E, but these deals may be available only for a limited time.

Keep in mind that Motorola Moto E is available for purchase at Flipkart only in Black and White, but given the fact that it comes with exchangeable covers, that shouldn’t be an issue for those who do not like these classic colors.

Now let’s see what Flipkar has to offer to customers who purchase the Motorola Moto E through its official retail channels.

Well, first of all, the retailer offers a 50% discount on all Motorola Moto E covers, so no matter how many you want to get, you will be paying only half the amount.

The second launch day offer for Motorola Moto E is anther 50% discount on Transcend 8GB microSD memory card, which comes in handy given the fact that the smartphone only packs 4GB of storage.

Last but not least, customers purchasing the Moto E will be offered free eBooks worth Rs 1,000 ($17 / €12) from a preselected list available at Flipkart.

Potential customers should know that they can take advantage of any and all of these launch day deals, as long as they agree to purchase the Motorola Moto E for the full price via Flipkart.

For the time being, the smartphone still shows as being available in stock, which means that Motorola was well prepared and brought a consistent number of units in India. However, you should hurry up if you want the Moto E, as stock may not last that long.
