China is the first country in the world to receive Motorola's ROKR E2. The ROKR E2 is the latest addition to the ROKR series of music phones.

ROKR E2 features a music player compatible with several audio formats, among them the MP3, WAV and AAC formats. Users can quickly access the music control keys placed on the side and front of the handset, that allow them to navigate through playlists, play/pause songs, skip backward and forward. The phone has built-in support for airplane mode that turns off the wireless radio parts of the device, for safe use on an airplane, and includes an FM radio with up to 30 presets.

Apart from listening to music, users can also use the 1.3 megapixel camera, with flash, to capture still images as well as video at 15 fps. Images and video files can be stored on an external SD memory card and they can be visualized on a 2 inch TFT display that supports 262k colors and 240 x 320 pixel resolution. Connectivity features include USB 2.0 for the transfer of data from the PC and Bluetooth for wireless data transfer or for connecting wireless headsets.

The Opera browser preinstalled on the phone allows users to easily navigate over the Internet, while Motorola's SCREEN3 technology automatically delivers news, sports, entertainment and other content to the handset without requiring user intervention.
