Motorola DROID 3, the long rumored next-gen handset that should bring Android to Verizon's airwaves, is reportedly set to make an appearance on the market as soon as July 14th.

Apparently, Best Buy should receive the handset one day before that, and might start selling it right after, some of the latest reports suggest.

A leaked screenshot with the retailers inventory shows that the Motorola DROID 3 should arrive in stock on July 13th, and Droid Attic, the site where the screenshot emerged, suggest that Best Buy will start selling the new mobile phone the very next day, on July 14th.

The Motorola DROID 3 was already launched on the market in China, as the Milestone 3, and has been rumored to come to Verizon's airwaves too since several months ago.

The wireless carrier did not make an announcement on the matter, but various leaks, the afore indicate that it should not be too long before it makes the move.

One indicator of this is the fact that various accessories for the device already started to emerge, such as a rubberized case spotted at Qmadix.

According to some of the previous rumors on the matter, the DROID 3 was expected to make an appearance on July 7th, but it seems that it might have been delayed by a week or so.

One way or the other, Verizon and Motorola should soon make the official announcement on DROID 3, and the carrier's users will have yet another high-end device to enjoy on Big Red's network.

The handset should arrive on shelves with a large 4.3-inch touchscreen display that can deliver a qHD resolution, as well as a fast dual-core application processor, supposedly clocked at 1.2GHz.

Moreover, the new device should include a sliding QWERTY keyboard, along with 16GB of internal memory and an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, capable of recording videos in 1080p HD resolution.
