After previously launching the DEFY MINI in Sweden and Norway, Motorola introduced the cheap Android phone in Denmark.

Although there’s no word on price tag, Motorola DEFY MINI should be available at Telia, Telmore, Elgiganten and other Motorola authorized resellers for around 200 USD (150 EUR) outright.

Built with durability and reliability in mind, the DEFY MINI is aimed at young active people in search for adventure.

This is why the smartphone features a dust- and water-resistant body, as well as Corning Gorilla Glass coating for extra protection against scratches and scrapes.

The phone comes with a decent 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports 320 x 480 pixels resolution and 262k colors.

Aside from its ruggedness and low price, the DEFY MINI’s main selling point should be the long battery life provided to users.

The smartphone embeds a high-capacity 1650 mAh Li-Ion battery, which is rated by the manufacturer for up to 500 hours of standby time or up to 10 hours of talk time.

There’s also a mediocre 3-megapixel camera on the back, which features LED flash and video recording, as well as a VGA front-facing camera for video calls.

The DEFY MINI is powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread platform with MotoSwitch UI on top, and packs a 600 MHz single-core processor.

It also features 512MB of RAM, 512MB of ROM and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB). Obviously, the phone provides access to more than 450,000 apps and games via Google Play store.

Motorola DEFY MINI is just the right mix of style, value, performance and toughness. It can stand up to whatever your busy life throws at you, keep you connected and organized, and capture and share your once-in-a-lifetime adventures – all with resilience and style,” said Victoria McManus, UK and Nordics marketing director, mobile devices, Motorola Mobility.
