AT&T has just added a new smartphone to its offering, namely the Android-powered Motorola ATRIX 2, and the device is already available at only half the original price tag if purchased via Amazon.

While AT&T is selling the new smartphone for $99 (around 72 Euros) on a two-year contract, Amazon will ask only $49.99 (about 36 Euros) for it, but the signing of that contract is still a requirement.

The new device comes to the market with a dual-core application processor inside and with a large 4.3-inch screen, as well as with an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, with HD video recording capabilities, and 8 GB of internal memory.

Moreover, it runs under the Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system and features support for various Google Mobile services, as well as for applications available for download via the Android Market.

The Motorola ATRIX 2 has been listed on Amazon's website here.
