What a shame...

It sounded too good to be true to start with, and now, recent rumors state that the leaked images and specifications for some upcoming great Motorola mobile phones have all chances of being false. This latest information has just as many chances of being true, but everybody might be inclined to trust the first rumors, as they were much more appealing. According to them, the handset producer announced during a presentation in Amsterdam its lineup for the beginning of next year. It also presented some pictures of the devices that should soon hit the market and someone seemed to have managed to take some blurry captures, although shooting photos was not allowed. From this story, everybody's interest got caught by the possibility of seeing the Skarven and its 8 megapixel camera out on the market as soon as possible. The next impressive device was the Motorola X Pixl, which was supposed to come with a 5 megapixel camera, a performance that few handsets are already capable of providing. Aside these two, also came the Genghis business smartphone and Motorola E10 Texel, a powerful music phone. Chances are that Motorola itself contributed to the release of these leaked images and specifications, be they real or not. The handset producer desperately needed something to rouse the audience's interest in their following mobile phone releases, although this might not have been the best solution. It looks like there is no 8 megapixel phone currently being worked on in Motorola Labs. Moreover, the 5 megapixel Kodak lens camera phone is still in the testing phase, with a much longer time left before hitting the market than previously expected. Everybody would love to find out that the four leaked phones were, after all, real. Motorola should break the tension with an official announcement on their future unveiling, or a release taking stand on the matter.
