Motion Computing, a manufacturer of rugged professional solutions, has pushed out its latest generations of rugged tablet series, the Motion F5 and C5.

Marketing VP Peter Poulin made the announcement saying that “with this launch, Motion continues to fulfill the mission we set forth 12 years ago. “

“Provide the mobile workforce tools to complete their work easier, faster and more accurately. As we strive to deliver innovative technology, we never lose sight of our customers – the mobile workers. Their needs remain at the forefront of our offerings.”

For workers active in fields such as construction, mobility, increased levels of power and security are essential. As such, Motion has added some software updates that enhance documentation procedures and sharing between co-workers.

The slates are touch friendly, but also come bundled with a pen for when it’s time to sit down and sketch a few things. Due to the embedded innovative technology, like the Corning Gorilla Glass and View Anywhere Display Durability, professionals can work anywhere, regardless of environmental conditions.

Power is ensured by the range of processor options from the Intel Core family (pick the i3, i5 or i7 VPro) with Intel Hyper-Threading. The SnapWorks tech has been slipped in by Motion as well, and it represents a very intuitive, touch-based camera application that allows professionals to quickly snap photos and share them.

The tablets have been designed to be carried around at all time, so Motion will add some accessories like tailored docking.

Motion brings in the big guns by providing the all-new Multi-Bay battery charger which can juice up to five batteries at the same time and is ideal for professionals working in a team.

Pricing options for the rugged tablets haven’t been revealed by the producing company yet.
