14 DAY TRIAL // A one-month old boy from Lorica, Columbia has been dubbed as an “evil spirit” by his own mother, after the woman started noticing that, wherever the baby sits, he leaves burn marks.
Ana Feria Santos is convinced that the devil has took possession of her son, the Inquisitr reports. She believes a “malignant spirit” gave her newborn the capacity to emanate fire.
Burn marks have been found on the baby's clothing, as well as on the couch in Santos' residence and in the home of Oscar Palencia Lopez, the child's father.
Officials are not buying the woman's story. The Colombian Family Welfare Institute has looked into the claims, and found burn marks on the baby's left hand.
They are reviewing the newborn’s physical condition, believing the mother herself is responsible for the injuries to the child. An investigation is on its way to determine whether or not Santos is responsible of abusing her child.
