The official minimum and recommended PC requirements for Mortal Kombat X have just been revealed, alongside the pre-order mechanism for the fighting experience on the same platform, which also includes the Goro bonus fighting and features the Kombat Pack DLC.

Mortal Kombat X is the next iteration in the very successful fighting game franchise from NetherRealm, and promises to deliver even more improvements over the core recipe of the series, including mechanics such as variations on iconic fighters with different skill sets.

Mortal Kombat X gets Steam listing

After sharing quite a few details in recent months about the game's roster of fighters, as well as about its different collector's editions, NetherRealm has now set up the official Mortal Kombat X Steam listing.

Through the new entry on Valve's extremely popular digital distribution service, fans can already pre-purchase the fighting experience ahead of its release in April. By doing so, they can get the free Goro bonus fighter, which is available only to those who pre-pay the upcoming title.

Besides getting the core game, fans can also buy the Kombat Pack DLC, which comes with the "Klassic Kombatants and iconic guest characters," but the studio doesn't mention anything concrete about it.

Mortal Kombat X also gets minimum and recommended PC requirements

Last but not least, the listing also comes with a set of minimum and recommended PC system specifications that computers must meet in order to run the fighting experience.

The minimum requirements are relatively steep, as they start with a 64-bit Windows operating system and continue with an Intel i5 or AMD Phenom II X4 965 CPU, and with 3GB of RAM or a whopping 25GB of space.

The least powerful video cards supported by the title are the Nvidia GeForce GTX 460 and the AMD Radeon HD 5850.

The recommended specs include an Intel i7 3770 or AMD FX-8350 CPUs, and continue with 8GB of RAM and a staggering 40GB of hard drive space. The ideal graphics cards are the Nvidia GTX 660 and the AMD Radeon HD 7950.

Check out the full PC requirements for Mortal Kombat X below. Look forward to the game's debut on April 14, worldwide for the PC, PS4, PS3, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
