Mortal Kombat X has just received a brand-new update on the PS4 platform, while PC and Xbox One users have to wait a bit more until the patch goes live on their platforms. All sorts of different improvements are included, from general enhancements to character-specific tweaks.

Mortal Kombat X launched back in April, delivering a fresh take on the long-running fighting series. Besides boasting great visuals, thanks to the powerful PC, PS4, and Xbox One platforms, the game also included lots of new and old characters, not to mention the trademark gory fatalities that made its predecessors so controversial.

The game made a pretty solid debut on the aforementioned platforms, but it wasn't spared of technical problems, especially on the PC, where new updates often made things worse, much to the chagrin of longtime fans.

A fresh update is now live for MKX on PS4

NetherRealm confirms on the official website that a fresh patch is available for download on the PS4 platform. Unfortunately, PC and Xbox One users will have to wait a bit more, as the update isn't yet live for their own platforms.

In terms of the actual patch, NetherRealm confirms that it's made movelist frame data corrections, while correcting normal moves from different characters.

The Krypt now sports an unlock counter, while those with poor network connections can choose to not play a ranked match. Different crash scenarios have also been resolved, so players should no longer encounter such situations inside the game.

Many character tweaks are also included

Besides these technical improvements, the latest patch for Mortal Kombat X also brings tweaks to certain characters, including Goro, Jason, Jax, Johnny Cage, Kitana, Kung jin, Mileena, Quan Chi, Raiden, Shinnok, Takeda, or Subzero.

You can check out the full changelog detailing each different modification below. As of right now, the patch is live only on PS4, so PC and Xbox One players of Mortal Kombat X will have to wait a bit more until they're able to download it.
