14 DAY TRIAL // The day when the world will have a first look at Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon's twins is here. However, until the actual interview on 20/20 on ABC with Barbara Walters airs, we have two brand new videos.
As we also informed you a few days ago, Mariah eventually decided to break her silence and do her first televised interview since giving birth to twins Moroccan and Monroe in April this year.
She and Nick sat down with Barbara Walters for an ABC special on 20/20, talking about anything and everything from learning they were expecting, the actual pregnancy, to their first experience as parents and not wanting to speak to the media.
ABC has released two new clips from the interview – you can see them both below, embedded at the end of the article.
The clips see happy parents Mariah and Nick on the couch in front of Barbara, talking about learning they were pregnant with twins and then finding out the gender of the babies.
Nick gushes about having a boy, while laughing at the recollection of carrying the ultrasound with him wherever he went to show the world he was about to have a son.
At the same time, the two singers reveal they were “terrified” at first when they learned they were having twins, because that meant the pregnancy was a risky one.
Mariah had suffered a miscarriage only months before and they feared they might have to go through the same horrible experience once more, they share.
Happily, that wasn't the case.
“Mariah and Nick recently sat down with Barbara Walters in their New York apartment to discuss Mariah's pregnancy, their marriage, their beautiful baby twins Monroe and Moroccan,” ABC said a few days ago in an announcement.
“Tune in to ABC next Friday, October 21st at 10:00 pm to watch the exclusive interview including #DemBabies for the first time ever!” if further said.
