Dell Streak, the flagship smartphone of the US-based multinational company, is one of the hardest to get, even after three months from its official launch on the market. Also known as Dell Mini 5, the device is only available in three countries at the moment: United Kingdom, United States and Romania.

If you're one of the few people that managed to grab one, then these tips will surely help you manage your device much easier.

One way to quickly access most of the connectivity functions of the tablet is to place a widget on one of the homescreens.

Press and hold on an empty space and from the pop-up window choose Widget and then Power Control.

You will now have quick access to Wi-Fi, GPS, Data synchronization, Bluetooth and Screen brightness.

When you want to take some snapshots with the camera avoid using the touch button that shows on the screen.

It doesn't focuses the camera like the dedicated camera button on the right side of the phone does and the result will be some blurry pictures.

Twitter and Facebook social networking services are also included in the tablet's firmware.

If your device doesn't come with any of the two you can easily place a widget with the apps on one of the homescreens.

Just follow the same procedure as the one described above and choose Facebook or Twitter app.

Dell Streak comes with four homescreens by default, but you can add up to six homescreens. To do that simply press and hold the Home button until the Task Manager is displayed.

The new Task Manager has been split in two, with the recently used apps on the bottom and the homescreens above. Simply click on the + sign to add one more homescreen.

Feel free to add more of these tips, especially if you're a Dell Streak user.
