14 DAY TRIAL // Quite a while ago, several pets in the UK entered a slimming competition organized by veterinary charity PDSA.
Now that the competition has come to an end, it is time to announce the winners. Thus, one Cavalier King Charles spaniel named Jack officially became a slimming champion, seeing how this puppy managed to drop almost a third of its initial body weight.
In raw numbers: he dropped a 14lb (6.35 kilograms), all with the help of a healthy diet and exercise.
Apparently, Jack's owners had no choice but to sign him up for this competition, given the fact that his being overweight caused him to become deaf. Moreover, he could barely move around the house.
“Today he is a different dog and we call him Jumping Jack instead of Jumbo Jack, as he jumps everytime he barks now,” one of the dog's owners told members of the press.
