14 DAY TRIAL // iPhone and iPod accessory maker Mophie has announced the expansion of its distribution of the juice pack air to Apple’s iPhone 4. Sold throughout AT&T stores in the US, the Juice Pack Air for iPhone 4 is the 7th generation of mophie’s juice pack line, which allegedly doubles the iPhone 4’s battery life.
The Juice Pack Air for iPhone 4 is a light-weight and ultra-thin external rechargeable battery case which provides complete protection from bumps, bangs and drops, in addition to its charging capabilities.

According to Mophie’s claims, the Juice Pack Air delivers twice the power of Apple’s claimed battery life for the iPhone 4.
The makers of the accessory say that “the juice pack air for iPhone 4 virtually doubles the power available to rock, talk, surf and send.”
According to the specs list, a full charged case gives users up to an additional 6 hours on 3G, up to 12 hours on 2G, of talk time; up to an additional 36 hours of audio playback; and up to an additional 9 hours video playback.
The charge is held in a highly condensed lithium polymer battery which boasts a small form factor, as well as built in overcharge, short circuit and temperature protection.
The case also offers acoustic sound enhancement, according to Mophie, thanks to a unique design that makes it act as a virtual speaker box.
It allegedly redirects sound from the bottom of the iPhone 4 to the front, “resulting in a richer, fuller sound quality.”
