There's definitely something about Apple products that just screams cover me inside a protective case judging by the impressive number of such solutions to hit the market on a daily basis, mophie just releasing its workbook protective iPad folio touting it as the “perfect iPad case.”

So what makes it so perfect you ask?

Well, in order to answer that question I have to take a quick look at the manufacturers claims since there must be something in there that makes them state that, right?

For starters, mophie claims this can provide users with an infinite number of angles for comfortable typing or screen viewing thanks to its special design that lets you adjust it any way that you like, so watching all sort of video content and images together with your friends should be a lot easier this way.

While I certainly can't deny this is a pretty cool option indeed, I am not so sure about the other features that mophie boasts such as the pass-through design that enables you to access all the iPad's ports and controls or the animal friendly faux leather exterior, all of these seeming more like marketing talk to me then really innovative features.

Also, I am not that impressed by the elastic strap that should ensure the iPad folio stays closed and secure during commute, since this seems quite fragile to me even if mophine says this is made out of a special “durable” material.

Moving past all that, I know that choosing a case actually comes down to personal preferences so if you decide on going for the mophie workbook for your iPad you will be happy to know this is available in five different colorways (black with black strap, white with grey strap, orange with black strap, chocolate with cyan strap and cement with a yellow strap), although it carries a rather hefty price of $59.95 US.
