When you are looking for serious monitoring quality in the audio field, there are many legendary names that will offer some of the planet's bes solutions for the job. Nevertheless, one must not necessarily be a legend in order to be able to provide extraordinary sound and ultimate reliability for a completely new acoustic monitoring experience.[admark=1]

Artcoustic is the perfect example, especially as these days the Danish team is celebrating the release of their most advanced piece of technology, the Spitfire series. The Artcoustic Spitfire is a series made from 3 pieces only: a full-range monitor, the subwoofer and the sub's own dedicated amplifier.

The Monitor is only 6 inch deep which makes it a very cool unit for the musical purposes: despite its huge and solid sound, it will not crowd up your studio. Even more, the Subwoofer sports the same depth therefore the two boxes can perfectly match when placed one atop of the other; they even sport securing locks that will add strength and stability to the new structure as needed.

The Spitfire monitor sports one 10" woofer and a 10" mid-range driver along with a dual array of 1" tweeters. This configuration, as well as the inherent quality of craftsmanship and materials used ensures one hell of frequency response between 30 and 40,000Hz.

The Monitor boasts 95dB sensitivity and a max114dB Sound Pressure Level (SPL) in 4 Ohms impedance. It will blast 100W of pure power, in long-term handling and weight 15Kg.

The Spitfire woofer is another impressive structure, sporting a dementing 4-drivers array, each 10" in diameter as well. The sonic deployment is omni-directional and blasts 550W (continuous power) at 98dB sensitivity, a max SPL of 118dB and 8 Ohms impedance. The Woofer's frequency response is 15 to 120Hz, something rarely met. The Spitfire Woofer comes with a dedicated 300W amplifier.

The Spitfire Monitor sells for $3,600 a pair and the Spitfiree Suwboofer (amp included) goes up to $4,150 per pair. All pairs are perfectly mirror-matched.
