Developer 22Cans and designer Peter Molyneux have just released a new video update answering a ton of questions regarding the future of Godus, the high-profile god game that has taken quite the low profile in recent months.

Peter Molyneux is an infamous figure in gaming, mainly due to the fact that he often makes promises that he doesn't or can't keep. Still, there are many who still hope that he will, one day, deliver that ultimate experience that he keeps promising to craft.

Unfortunately, the fans, Kickstarter backers and Steam Early Access adopters of Godus, his latest game, are no longer among them.

There has been a lot of controversy surrounding Godus, with a ton of people being upset due to the fact that the company has not fulfilled everything that it had promised in the Kickstarter pitch, including the creation of some of the backer rewards.

Most of the people are upset due to the fact that the company has not fulfilled even the most basic promise, delivering a solid god game, a modern reinvention of Populous, as Godus in its current state is far from what everyone imagined it would be.

An update is better than no update

The game still has a future, albeit an uncertain one, and it seems like 22Cans is still carrying on working on improving the game.

You can find the full Godus Community Update video below, answering various questions regarding the game's combat and a lot of other systems, and discussing how the money Godus makes is used.

Godus has been initially released as a free-to-play mobile game that has been described as a mix of bulldozing simulator and cow clicker, nowhere near what everyone expected from the maker of Dungeon Keeper and Populous.

In any case, if you're still interested in what Peter Molyneux has to say and what to expect from Godus in the future, you can give the video a watch.
