Kickstarter is the place where innovative designs hope to receive the necessary funds to see the light of day and make our life a little bit easier. With 14 days to go, 1,174 backers and over ₤163,000 ($259,517 / €192,4680 pledged, Triggertrap Redsnap is on its way to become a dream come true.

Triggertrap Redsnap is a clever camera trigger that uses interchangeable sensor modules that will help you make high-speed, camera trap and timelapse photography as easy as pie.

The new Redsnap device comes with a modular that allows you to build the perfect triggering solution for any type of high-speed / timelapse photography project.

Through the new Kickstarter campaign, the team behind the project introduces four insanely fast sensors that can be combined in any way you want for triggering from multiple sources at the same time.

Triggertrap Redsnap is compatible with all the cameras and flashes on the market, and comes with a special connector that enables a link between the device and the Triggertrap Mobile App for iOS and Android. It also features a Micro USB socket to power the gadget and for installing new software updates.

All of this sounds pretty exciting when you think that you can start a timelapse and leave it running for as long as you want. If you're into photographing the sky at night, with the new Star Trail mode, you will be able to start extreme exposures with the minimum amount of visual noise.

The four different sensor blocks available with Triggertrap Redsnap are: a High Speed Laser Sensor that can trigger your camera or flash faster than a speeding bullet; a High Speed Sound Sensor for capturing all sorts of destructive projects; a High Speed Light Sensor for those perfect lightning storm photos, and a Passive Infrared Sensor essential for any wildlife photographer.

If you think that's pretty impressive, don't forget that all these sensors can be combined in any way you want to get the best results and, with the Triggertrap Mobile app support, you will be able to use this awesome gadget to trigger your smartphone from Redsnap and vice versa.

You can grab the Redsnap Platinum Kit that comes with every aforementioned sensor for ₤150 / $238 / €117 from Kickstarter.
