The device targets the smartphone users

PenPower Taiwan has released their WorldPhone branded product, MobilePen.

The MobilePen is an accessory specially designed for smartphones running on Windows Mobile or Symbian OS platforms, that lets you write on the touchpad in Chinese or English. On the touchpad there is already a virtual QWERTY key to key in the text by tapping the correct character. The MobilePen device offers the user different options such as giving him an online keyboard from which to enter the data (in English or Chinese) and of course it can also recognize handwriting input in either of these languages.

The information is transferred via a Bluetooth connection. Providing an alternative way to speed up the text input rate, mobile users who work frequently with mobile office application will find this device very helpful.

Measuring 98 x 60 x 11mm and weighing 54g, MobilePen is powered by a single AAA battery, and can be used continuously for 5 hours. The device has 3 buttons at the bottom that will allow you to: switch between English/Chinese when using handwriting, switch between handwriting or virtual keypad, show/hide words list.
