The DVB-H capable ZTE F908

Just to point to us all that mobile phone manufacturers are also to be found in China, ZTE has launched on the market its F908 cellphone, a handset coming in a clamshell form-factor and sporting as its top selling feature, the very thing standing at the base of mobile TV as we now it, the DVB-H capability.

Putting aside its mobile TV abilities, this is a device with enough good looks and with enough innovations regarding the design part to attract almost any type of mobile user out there. That means the F908 is probably going to be a very popular cellphone in the areas were it is going to be released.

The cellphone has an OLED display carefully covered with an acrylic mirrored screen for protection. It also features a pivoting display which is surely a match made in heaven for the phone's TV capabilities.

It also packs in an HSPDA radio capable of data transfers of up to 3.6 Mbps , a feature ready to offer the F908 future users very fast data transfers capable of sustaining the viewing of mobile TV broadcasts.

The pictures also point out a rotating digital camera of some sort with flash light, external music controls and a design that will get a lot of people to look after you on the streets while talking on this cellphone.

Apart of its DVB-H feature, this is probably the thing that will guarantee its success on the mobile market; this and its Sci-Fi kind of look, a fact that will attract a lot of praises coming from the users with a lot of love for Star Trek-like gadgets.

No other details about this clamshell handset are known at the moment but, if complemented with a reasonable enough price, this is going to be the thing to give mobile TV a more appealing look, at least in China where the F908 is going to get an official release very soon.
