First conference to focus on the emerging mobile Internet industry

Yankee Group and Trendsmedia, its Events and Publishing Division, announced that the Mobile Internet World conference and exposition will be held at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston between the 13th and 15th of November, 2007. Mobile Internet World is the first conference to focus on the emerging mobile Internet industry, which promises to become the fastest growing marketplace in the telecommunications industry in the next five years.

The Mobile Internet World conference program will feature seminars, workshops, executive summits and web development tutorials, with over 75 industry leaders presenting. Keynote speakers will include Dirk Wierzbitzki, Director of Consumer Internet Services & Platforms of Vodafone, Emily Nagle Green, President and CEO of Yankee Group; Tim Berners Lee, Director of the Word Wide Web Consortium; Colin Spence, COO of BT Americas; Rob Glaser, CEO of Real Networks; and Len Lauer, Qualcomm Group President. Other speakers will include representatives from companies and associations such as 3, Google, Major League Baseball, Third Stream Media, W3C Mobile Web Initiatives, WiMAX Forum and more. Topics will cover all key mobile technologies, ranging from mobile Internet emerging business models, to global wireless industry trends, entertainment and gaming, open development standards, marketing and advertising on the mobile Web.

The Mobile Internet World exposition will feature exhibitors from the entire spectrum of the mobile Internet ecosystem and will include presentations from companies such as Third Screen Media, Alvarion, Qualcomm, Arraycomm, InfoGin.
