BUZ Interactive, one of the leaders in voicemail personalization services, announced recently GETaBUZ, a fun and easy way to create voicemail greetings by mixing voice and music. The company is making GETaBUZ publicly available for the first time at the DEMO 07 conference.

With GETaBUZ, users can choose from a wide variety of music tracks, record a voice message and then mix the two together to create a "BUZ." Users can then either replace their mobile voicemail greeting with their new BUZ, or send it as a message to another mobile phone number-directly through the existing voicemail system, without the phone ringing.

"With BUZ Interactive, young people are going to love having the ability to mix their voice with music and get a high quality, great sounding voicemail greeting," said Julien Blin, research analyst, wireless and mobile communications at IDC. "BUZ Interactive could do for voicemails what ringback tones did for dial tones. As the mobile user-generated content and mobile music markets continue to grow, BUZ is well-positioned to take advantage of the anticipated growth in these respected markets."

GETaBUZ features a growing catalog of music from a range of major label and independent artists. No special software or hardware is required to use the service-just a standard Web browser. GETaBUZ is available starting today in beta, and allows users to get and send BUZes for free. After the beta period, all new users to the site will still get a free BUZ when they register, and will be able to earn additional free BUZes by referring others to the site. Users will also be able to purchase BUZes for $ 0.99 - $ 2.99 depending on their music choice.
