New adventures for Faith

Mirror's Edge was one of the most innovative titles to appear last year, having stunned a lot of gamers with its gorgeous graphics, lifelike gameplay and intricate puzzles that the main character of the game, Faith, needed to run through.

While the single player was pretty entertaining, the shortness of the story meant that the development team at DICE needed to bring a new mode in order to satisfy gamers. As such, the Time Trial feature was created, which allowed players to navigate a certain course on the rooftops of the buildings found in the game and set the fastest time possible, competing with other people all across the world.

While the maps were pretty entertaining, the DICE team believed that more things could be added and announced some time ago that they would release seven new maps, all part of a DLC (Downloadable Content) pack for all of the three platforms on which the game was launched, PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Sadly things haven't gone so well and the pack was delayed a few weeks ago, but now it seems that Mirror's Edge owners will finally get a chance to put Faith through her paces in nine races across these surreal packs, which take the action away from the rooftops and into the sky, where the main heroine will be running on a series of geometrical figures.

Available for 800 MS Points or 10 dollars, the pack should already appear on the Xbox 360 Live Marketplace and PlayStation Store. Also, PS3 owners shouldn't forget that they can download a free map, courtesy of DICE for their own copy of Mirror's Edge.

In conclusion, owners of the game will certainly be interested in taking Faith out across new maps and test out their reflexes and her abilities, so you'd better start downloading the pack as soon as possible.
