A senior in high-school in Minnetonka, Hennepin County in Minnesota has been arrested for helping another student become a call girl.

Montia Marie Parker of Maple Grove attends Hopkins High School, as does the 16-year-old girl she arranged meetings for.

She set up an account on Backpage.com and gave her own phone number for clients to call.

She would then send the girl to locations where she would be meeting the men. She would drive her there and collect the money, KSTP reports.

According to police reports, the pair met on the cheerleading team. The sophomore asked older students about how she could make some extra cash, and Parker gave her the option of sleeping with men for money.

While originally dismissing the suggestion as a joke, she was later engaged in another conversation on the matter by Parker, who also contacted her on Facebook.

The girl agreed and provided photos of herself to the senior, who specifically asked for shots in which she would "show a little skin" and wear "different outfits."

The younger student met two other girls that Parker was “managing” on her first job. The cheerleader would call the school and pretend to be the sophomore's mother in order to get her out for an hour.

The mother found out when she was told about her daughter being absent from a class. She then checked the girl's text messages and learned about where she was.

Parker has been charged with trafficking, solicitation and inducement and she could be getting 15 years in jail.

"Although these events did not occur on school grounds, the charges are very serious. When we learned of them, we acted immediately to ensure the safety of all Hopkins High School students.

"In responding to this incident, we followed our discipline and safety policy, which includes permanently removing a student from campus. Whether an incident occurs on our campus or not, student safety is always our top priority," Hopkins Public Schools have stated.
