Here's the complete list of countries where MiniDuke infections have been spotted

MiniDuke is the latest piece of malware found to be involved in sophisticated cyberattacks against high-profile organizations.

Security firm Bitdefender has identified an older variant of the malware that dates back to May 2012. At the time, the malicious element was unknown.

In order to help users and organizations protect themselves against the threat, Bitdefender has launched a free stand-alone MiniDuke removal tool.

All you need to do to verify if your device is infected is launch the app and start a scan. The tool will do the rest.

Here is the list of the 23 countries where MiniDuke has been spotted: Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Georgia, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Japan, Latvia, Lebanon, Lithuania, Montenegro, Portugal, Romania, Russian Federation, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom and United States.
