Minecraft players rejoice, as the latest update for the mobile version of the game has finally arrive on Android and iOS. Minecraft update 0.11 brings quite a lot of content, which was previously confirmed by developer Mojang.

One would think that since Mojang has been bought by Microsoft updates will first arrive on Windows Phone, or at least they will be available at the same time as Android and iOS.

Apparently, that's not the case since Windows Phone players have yet to receive update 0.11. Still, we believe the latest version of Minecraft Pocket Edition will pop up on Windows Phone Store in the next few days.

As we reported last month, update 0.11 is pretty big and important. First of all, it brings Skins, which means every player can choose what they want to look like. These skins are purely cosmetic and are only meant to change the players' appearance.

Get skins for free or pay for bundles

Also, they don't come for free. They come in bundles of 20 for just $0.99 / €0.79 / £0.79 each, so it's not really such a big investment.

However, there are ways to obtain skins for free if you don't want to pay for them. Here is how you can get one or more of these skins for free:

- Upload a skin from the internet. Use a search engine or Minecraft skin website to find one, then upload it to Minecraft: Pocket Edition. - Create your own skin using the fantastic Minecraft: Skin Studio or your favorite piece of image editing software. Then upload it to Pocket Edition. - Use one of the free skins available in game.

Apart from Skins, the latest update introduces lots of new features and improvements, such as boats for two, chicken jockeys, baby zombies, squids and much more.

We have attached the full changelog below, so make sure to check it out if you want to know what's changed in version 0.11.

You can now download Minecraft Pocket Edition for Android for $6.99 via Google Play Store. The game should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Android 4.0 and up.

For iOS users, the game can be downloaded via App Store for $6.99. It should work smoothly on all devices running iOS 5.1.1 or later.
