The development team at Mojang in charge of Minecraft is deploying a new update for the indie title, which introduces a relatively short list of changes but has already been very well received by the player community, mainly because it deals with a number of problems linked to the use of Redstone.

The full list of changes can be seen by clinking on the button at the end of this article and although just two straight up crashes are eliminated, the game should offer a better overall experience on the Xbox One, the 360, the PlayStation 4, the PS3 and the Vita.

Gamers who are playing Minecraft and encounter any sort of issue should head to the official forums of the game in order to report them and see whether any others experience the same problems.

The team has already compiled some and more will be tracked in the coming days and weeks as another update for the title is being built and then submitted for approval on all platforms before it is deployed.

In the meantime, gamers who play Minecraft on the Xbox One or on the Xbox 360 can also enjoy the new Star Wars Rebels skin, which introduces a range of characters based on the new animated series from Lucasfilm and Disney.

It’s unclear at the moment when this downloadable content will be launched on the PC, the PlayStation 4 and the PS3.

Microsoft has undisclosed, big plans for Minecraft

Minecraft continues to break sales records, especially for an indie title, and the fact that new content is being deployed regularly and patches continue to arrive means that the community is not in danger of abandoning the experience anytime soon.

Recently, a group of gamers has started recreating the entire world of Game of Thrones and there will certainly be new projects including Star Wars, given the newly added streams.

Microsoft has purchased Mojang for a record amount last year and the company has said that it does have big long-term plans for Minecraft, although it has not offered any details yet and has made clear that it does not want to restrict access to any content for it to the Xbox One or the 360.
