Milwaukee concertgoers got closer to Miley than they would have liked to

By now, Miley Cyrus has proven that she's a real beast on stage during concert performances, so this next piece of news should not shock any one of the readers out there. Ever since she's set off on her world Bangerz tour, Miley has made headlines with several concert stunts, one more outrageous than the other.

Apart from her raunchy performances and eye-wateringly tight and revealing outfits, she's also made out with Katy Perry one time, with a random female fan at another, chewed underwear thrown on stage on several occasions, nicked beer from people in the front row, and sang an entire song in her underwear.

But this week, for her concert in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, she decided that it would be fun to swap fluids with numerous fans in the front row. Except her gesture was not announced and certainly not appreciated.

In a video that's made its way online, Cyrus can be seen during a hydration break, chugging water from a plastic bottle. After a few mouthfuls, she decided she had had enough and began spitting on people in the front row.

Not only were said people surprised, but they were also disgusted as some of them began shouting in protest "Oh my god!" when they realized that they had paid good money for a performance where they would get spit on.

Granted, Miley is not the first or the last celebrity to spit water on her audiences, this being a trademark move of rockers during concerts. Miley is probably wanting to reinforce her punk-rock image, but she's doing so at the expense of her unsuspecting fans who paid extra just so they could be closer to their favorite artist.

This disgusting episode is reminiscent of another pop star's antics. You won't be getting any points if you've guessed that the pop star in question is Justin Bieber and the incident we're referring to is that time when he thought it would be fun to spit on hid fans from his hotel balcony.

Today's moral is (especially if you're a young pop star): don't treat your fans like garbage, because they are the ones who support your career. Or, at least, ask before spitting on them because some might get a kick out of that, but most will just be grossed out.

Miley has previously said on Twitter that she's very hurt about the bad reviews her tour has been getting and that people just don't understand her. It's safe to say that, after this stunt, she won't be making any new friends, at least not in Wisconsin.
