Miley Cyrus is her own girl, sorry, woman, and she won't do what she's told. The rebellious singer was rumored to be eyed by Simon Cowell for a position on his reality talent show, The X Factor, which has just closed shop in the US and is making a big return in the UK, with Cheryl Cole and Simon himself in the judge seats.

Rumors that Miley was going to be the fourth judge ran rife, until Miley told Entertainmentwise, “Simon has more chance of getting Elvis or Gandhi as a judge.” Simon expressed his wish on several occasions at his intention to lure Cyrus to the show, but it seems his hints have fallen on deaf ears.

Not only that, but an insider reveals that Miley is being constantly approached by producers of similar shows to make appearances, but she just turns them down one by one. At the moment, it would seem that Miley is just interested in concerts and tours, and occasionally in a new album.

Simon's belief that he could convince Miley stems from the fact that he previously had pop star Demi Lovato as a judge on the show, when the American version was still running, while on the British version singer Nicole Scherzinger also made a lengthy appearance.
