Miley Cyrus may be in the hospital recuperating from a violent allergic reaction, but that doesn't mean that she's down for the count. The controversial singer reappeared on Twitter with a less than polite message for those that spread bad rumors about her state of health.

Never one to be left without a comeback, Miley has hit back at people that kept saying on social media that her hospitalization was due to her hard partying finally catching up with her. She posted a photo from an official statement in which it's mentioned her condition is serious but is due to an allergic reaction to an antibiotic she was taking for a sinus infection.

“Miley was suffering from a sinus infection during her tour. She was prescribed the antibiotic Cepahlexin which shes now suffered an extreme allergic reaction to. This type of extreme reaction can last from five to 27 days in these types of cases (sic),” the statement read.

However, Miley put her message to detractors in less polite words. “shut the [expletive] up & let me heal. stop scaring my family, friends, & fans,” her angry tweet read.

Even on her hospital bed, Miley seems to be thinking of her fans, something which naturally sparked a lot of well wishes from her followers and similar messages from irate fans who told detractors to back off.

Cyrus was clearly bothered about reports that said she was masking her real health issues with this allergic reaction thing and she's made it very clear that she won't stand for any more “ignorant stories” that could potentially be “scarring her fans.”

Fake illness or not, the fact that Miley may be very well stuck in a hospital bed for the next month is beginning to dawn on people close to her tour, which has been at the moment postponed until the time she is feeling better.

A true performer, Miley tweeted from her hospital bed that she was frustrated and wanted to get back on stage to sing for her fans. But many of her fans wrote back on Twitter saying that they understand and that she should get better before coming back to the stage. They all agreed her health was more important than the tour.

Miley's luck has been only of a bad nature lately. Prior to her hospitalization, she was hit really hard by the sudden death of one of her dogs, Floyd, who was apparently killed by a coyote. At the time, she turned her sorrow into powerful performances in which she had brought on stage a giant inflatable statue of her late canine companion.
