14 DAY TRIAL // Miley Cyrus may beat her chest and flaunt her goods as much as she wants, but more and more people are beginning to realize that all that she's doing is just an act and underneath she's just as insecure and as craving for affection as the next person.
The latest rumors regarding Miley seem to confirm that theory. Us Weekly claims to have spoken to some insiders and the general consensus is that Miley never really got over ex-fiance Liam Hemsworth. Ever since they broke up in September 2013, Miley has been aching and she simply couldn't bring herself to forget him completely.
“There's a part of her that wants to get back together,” claims the source, adding “[she's] been lonely.” That would make sense to most people who follow Miley on a regular basis. Remember that she took the breakup pretty hard and went on to write the heartbreak hit “Wrecking Ball,” in which she goes on to explain the devastating effect the split had had on her.
Of course, Miley doesn't want you to know that Liam is still on her mind, as she currently has to project this image of tough, independent woman. Let's not forget that, earlier this month, Miley was videotaped saying some pretty nasty stuff about a certain someone in her life that caused her to write “Wrecking Ball.”
It was taken as a direct bashing of Liam Hemsworth, but she later addressed those rumors by saying that she was only trying to get the crowd riled up and she would never badmouth Liam on stage. Seeing as how she never takes the time to address the tabloid rumors, we can only conclude that she does indeed still care enough to make sure he doesn't get the wrong idea from the press.
The source reveals that the whole incident was just “Miley trying to get a rise out of Liam. She misses him.” The bad part is that Liam Hemsworth isn't having the same thoughts of reconciliation. “He wants to stay clear of her drama,” an insider close to him claims and adds “He's been dating around.”
That might be the case, but he is still a gentleman as he is reported to have phoned her to check on the singer's state of health when she was hospitalized last month due to a severe allergic reaction to antibiotics, or so it was claimed by her camp.
The Australian actor took an active interest in her wellbeing, and that might have just spurred her feelings even more at the time.
