14 DAY TRIAL // Miley Cyrus has already denied having called off the wedding to Liam Hemsworth but being photographed without her engagement ring twice in a row isn’t helping with those breakup rumors.
The other night, the star was snapped again sans engagement ring, in the company of a “mystery man,” as omg! Yahoo refers to him.
Of course, the mystery man is a just a friend, so it’s not his presence by Miley’s side that’s keeping celebrity bloggers and gossip lovers talking but rather the fact that she’s still not wearing the ring Liam gave to her when he proposed last year.
“The ‘Can't Be Tamed’ singer was photographed en route to a party in L.A. on Thursday without her engagement ring for the second night in a row. X17 Online has photos of the star heading to a friend's birthday in North Hollywood where she hung for a few hours with a ‘mystery man’,” omg! writes.
As for rumors that he might be the new love in Miley’s life, that’s just rumors, the e-zine continues.
“omg! spoke to sources close to Cyrus who assure us that this man in question (Paul Khoury) is ‘a good friend of Miley's,’ adding that they have ‘known each other for years’,” says the same media outlet.
Furthermore, sources confirm what we’ve been saying as well: Miley and Liam are still together but on a break to think things through a bit.
“Liam and Miley are going through a rough patch,” says the spy, adding that they’re “taking time apart (literally) to figure out what they want.”
After rumors started spreading online that she and Liam were done and the wedding was off, Miley denied them on Twitter but refused to comment further on her love life.
Obviously upset, she also said that she would only be using Twitter from now on for her music but, as fans must know, she’s said and done this before.
