In an unusual move for her, Miley Cyrus has opened up to her fans about her feelings and it looks like she's not the tough cookie she'll have the media believe she is. Miley chose to address her fans and her detractors in regards to her highly controversial “Bangerz” tour and her reaction might shock you.

Speaking about the matter on Twitter, Miley revealed that she was indeed affected by the bad reviews and the critics, just as some people suspected, despite her tough “I couldn't care less” attitude in the media.

“I don't think people realize how much energy I put into my shows & how much their bad energy brings me down,” Miley tweeted to her over 17 million fans who immediately took her side and tried to comfort her with supportive messages.

This could have been Miley's goal in the first place, but it shows that she can be affected by “bad energy” and even brought down.

However, the “bad energy” phrase might be a bit of an understatement as some people went literally mad when referring to her “Bangerz” performances. Though labeled as “art” by Miley which was supposed to be “educational for kids,” her tour has been branded on numerous occasions as a shocking performance that is degrading to women and music in general.

Among the most outrageous feats she's performed on stage are casually nibbling on fans' underwear thrown on stage, simulating indecent acts with backup dancers as well as with herself, wearing a cannabis-printed leotard and having a man wearing a mask of Bill Clinton on stage who receives oral gratification from Miley herself.

Many parents demanded for the cancellation of the tour after the first performances, while Cyrus hit back on Twitter “you can't say I didn't warn you. Now sit back relax & enjoy the show. #bangerztour”

Organizers and venue holders were left scrambling as emergency meetings took place to decide the future of “Bangerz,” but it was eventually determined that “the show must go on,” as the famous Freddie Mercury once said.

Other reports had fans scrambling to re-sell their tickets online, even at a loss, in order to escape having to go to Miley's performances, but nothing seems to deter the former Hannah Montana in her effort to ditch her Disney legacy and blaze a new trail in our collective minds.

Chances are that Miley won't be backing down or even tuning it down just for the sake of better reviews. She maintains that her performances are art and should be viewed as such, which is why she'll continue with her outrageous feats on stage. She'll just have to live with that “bad energy.”
