Miley Cyrus can't take the heartbrake, gives up new dog as she still mourns loss of Floyd

Miley Cyrus is taking the death of one of her dogs really hard. After dog Floyd passed away following a confrontation with a coyote, Miley transitioned from feeling suicidal, remorseful, pensive and later, sad.

Miley soon took the stage to express her sorrow by dedicating a cover song to her departed pooch of which she had a giant inflatable statue made out and brought on stage during one of her performances.

Seeing her baby's sorrow, Mother Cyrus thought it would be a good idea to gift forlorn Miley a new dog, a pooch she named Moonie. She wrote about it on Twitter as she still sulked over Floyd's death, claiming that only Moonie's licks could get her through the heartbreak. “My mama knew my heart was broken & this morning I woke up to Moonie kises. No one could ever replace my baby Floyd but this precious angel is lendin me some fur to cry on along with my other babies.”

Now, two weeks after the event, Miley is announcing the world that she's still not over Floyd and she's just not ready to move on so she's giving Moonie away. “Moonie, thank you for giving me so much love, comfort, & peace. It's just to soon for me right now #missingmoonie,” she wrote on Sunday.

It seems that Cyrus has come to grasp the fact that all beings are mortal and, after Floyd died so suddenly, she's too afraid to commit to a new dog “After wht happened Im scared [to] have a tiny dog (sic).”

It looks like Moonie has found a new home with a friend's mom who has a tiny pup for him to play with. Or, at least, that's what the singer said when fans prompted her about the dog's whereabouts. She said that the dog would be happy and safe in the new home, indicating that she feared for its safety.

Back when Floyd died, Miley tweeted “Today is the 2nd worst day of my life. I don't wanna say it because I don't want it to be real... But my precious baby Floyd has passed away. I am broken. I know I don't mean it but I wish he would've taken me with him. This is unbearable. What am I gonna do without him? I am miserable.”

Miley still has two more dogs in her care and chances are that she's being extra careful with them these days to make sure that they don't come to the same fate as Floyd. No word on whether Moonie will be returning to Miley Cyrus when she's feeling better.
