Last week, the internet and the celebrity magazines went crazy over rumors that two of the best known and beloved names in teen pop, Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber, were involved in a secret love story that had been going on for years, behind the back of then-girlfriend Selena Gomez.

Now, taking some time off her very controversial and raunchy “Bangerz” tour, Miley decided to take to Twitter and address some of the rumors surrounding her and the bad boy of pop. The “Wrecking Ball” hitmaker resorted to posting a photo from a magazine and blasting it as a fake.

The photo was taken from US magazine Life & Style and it showed Bieber and Cyrus in an embrace, posing for the camera. According to Miley, this never happened as she let her fans know that the picture was photoshopped, “Btw this is photoshopped. Biebs wasn't at Pharrels bday party. I never read this [expletive] & that's why.”

The article joining the photo alleged that Bieber and Cyrus “hooked up,” at the time that Justin was still dating Selena Gomez, and thus spark controversy. However, media reports indicate that Selena confessed someone close to her had betrayed her when she was in rehab.

It was revealed that Selena blamed Miley for her breakup with Justin and on top of that, had also prepared a “Mean Girls” alliance with fellow singers and friends Taylor Swift, and Demi Lovato, in bad mouthing Miley all over town and freezing her out of appearances.

It's not known if this media sabotage is real, but what is certain is that Miley hasn't been seen with the rest of the once-friendly group in years. Not that Miley seems to mind. Her album and concert ticket sales are through the roof and she's more in demand than she ever was posing as Disney's Hannah Montana.

The controversial pop artist also took the time to address another rumor involving her appearance in NBC's upcoming live production of Peter Pan. Again, the “Bangerz” performer chose to express her thoughts by using a picture that showed her as a possible prospect for the project.

In typical Miley fashion, she captioned the photo “I would rather eat my own tongue,” expressing profound disgust at the thought of playing Tinkerbell on the musical production. She was linked with the project due to her success and physical likeness with the sparkling fairy, but this seems to be the last thing on her mind at the moment.

The live musical Peter Pan has been announced by NBC after the success of their Christmas rendition of “The Sound of Music” starring Carrie Underwood. By the looks of things, Miley doesn't want absolutely anything to do with the role of the singing, sparkling fairy.
