14 DAY TRIAL // The hopes that Miley's newest video for the slow ballad “Adore You” was going to be more low-key in tune with the holidays spirit have died when the video was released on YouTube. The “Wrecking Ball” singer decided to play the shock factor one more time in 2013.
Miley Cyrus desperately wants you to know she's a woman now, with a body to prove it. Her “Adore You” video sees the young singer dressed in nothing but underwear (skin-colored and transparent, of course, for maximum effect), playing around with a camera under the sheets on her bed.
She may or may not be pleasuring herself during that time, but she does put up a convincing act with all the squirming around and the lip biting to a point that no one is actually paying attention to the song.
Despite what Miley and the director of the video had intended, the only thing that sticks out like a sore thumb are Miley's eyebrows that make her look eerily similar to fellow pop-star Justin Bieber. The hairdo isn't helping her either.
The video concludes with the overused singing in the bathtub of soapy water scene that's been previously featured in clips by other pop superstars such as Britney or Rihanna.
