14 DAY TRIAL // It could all very well get just a little too difficult for singer Miley Cyrus who is still at the beginning of her controversial “Bangerz” tour. Recently blasted as a bad influence on children, the singer is showing signs of emotional stress as she couldn't help herself from braking into tears midway through the performance of her hit song “Wrecking Ball.”
Although she started the song on a cheerful manner, smiling and waving at fans near the stage, Miley' facial expression gradually changes into one that notes emotional distress. By the time she reaches the chorus for the third time, Miley literally breaks down into tears and her singing becomes interrupted as she's struggling to keep her composure.
It's not known what has caused this meltdown during a live performance, but it can be attributed to her recent hectic schedule, as well as the great number of bad reviews she's been getting in the press about her new show.
Just days ago, she let on that she was deeply affected by her detractors when she posted on Twitter “I don't think people realize how much energy I put into my shows & how much their bad energy brings me down.”
All the negative press seemed not to bother her at first, because after the first negative reviews came out she tweeted “you can't say I didn't warn you. Now sit back relax & enjoy the show. #bangerztour.”
But she apparently has a deep wish to be appreciated for her creative efforts. She even went as far as to call her concert “art” and to say that it was “educational for kids.” Most parents who watched her perform on stage did not share the same opinion.
They were appalled when the former Disney princess appeared on the stage in very skimpy and revealing leotards, one even with cannabis printed on it, and began performing lewd acts, such as miming pleasuring herself or giving oral gratification to one of her backup dancers wearing a Bill Clinton mask.
Another theory could be that Miley gets emotional when singing this particular song because it was written after her split from former fiancé, Liam Hemsworth. The fact that she burst out into tears could lead to speculation that she's still suffering from the split, although she said in interviews that she didn't want to be in relationships anymore.
It's all speculation really at this point until Miley decides to address the issue in an official statement or interview, but the fact that she burst into tears unexpectedly during a live performance could indicate she is headed for a meltdown.
