14 DAY TRIAL // The Virgin America airline has set up a system allowing passengers to get better acquainted throughout the use of alcohol and technology.
“Treat a travel companion or break the ice by sending a drink, meal, or snack to another seat with our Red™ touch screen entertainment system,” Virgin announces online.
According to the Malaysian Digest, the program makes use of the existing Red on-demand menu, which can be accessed on monitors attached to seats in the plane.
This time, you can order treats not only for yourself, but also for other travelers sitting on the same plane.
The chat feature is also active, as you can see in the screenshot above, allowing you to mingle and get acquainted with people that you will be spending a few hours with.
