14 DAY TRIAL // On Friday, confirmation came that Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel had decided to end their 4-year romance. The decision had been mutual, it was said, but rumors linked co-star Mila Kunis to the breakup.
In other words, there was some talk about how Kunis, who starred opposite Justin in “Friends with Benefits,” was actually the reason why he’d chosen to end things with Biel.
Unnamed spies told the tabs that, while there was nothing physical going on between the two, Mila had helped Justin see that Jessica was not the girl for him: she, Mila, was.
More reliable sources are now telling People magazine that Justin and Mila are nothing more than just good friends who happened to work on a romantic comedy together.
“Mila had nothing to do with their break-up. In fact, no one came between them. They decided their relationship ran its course and it was time to move on,” says a spy.
Not only did Kunis have nothing to do with the split, but she’s not dating Justin even now that he’s a single man.
“They’re not in a relationship. They star in a movie called Friends with Benefits but they’re just friends. That’s it. They are not together,” says the same spy.
Speculation about a possible romance between the film’s two leads began as on-set paparazzi photos leaked online, and some celebrity bloggers and fans thought they saw in them more chemistry than there should have been.
Talk picked up even more after Mila ended things with her boyfriend of 8 years, Macaulay Culkin, shortly after shooting with Timberlake resumed.
Now, Justin’s announcement that he and Jessica are done only adds more fuel to the fire that’s already burning bright.
As if to hush rumors that she’s “heartbroken” over the split, Jessica Biel stepped out for a birthday dinner over the weekend in LA, flashing her happiest smile.
