14 DAY TRIAL // Mila Kunis has been photographed with a gold band on her engagement finger, prompting speculation that she might be engaged to her still married boyfriend and former co-star Ashton Kutcher.
People Magazine reports that it was not able to get a confirmation or a denial of the supposed happy news, but hints that this might very well be the case since insiders revealed back in April that Ashton had decided to marry Mila as soon as his divorce was final.
In fact, the report notes, if he hasn’t proposed yet, it’s because Demi Moore, his ex-wife, is doing everything she can to drag the divorce proceedings indefinitely as some sort of revenge because he cheated on her.
People estimates that, if they’re not engaged yet, Ashton will pop the question to Mila “sooner rather than later.”
“He knows what they have is amazing and special. He’s been thinking about proposing for a long time,” an insider tells the publication, adding that he initially wanted to propose on Mila’s birthday last month.
“They are clearly very much in love, in tune with each other and so comfortable. In some ways, it’s like they’re married already,” adds the source.
Admittedly, Ashton doesn’t want to become engaged until he’s legally a free man, which, right now, he is not.
“When Ashton first became a single man via separation, he was eager to date around. But that has changed since his relationship with Mila has grown and strengthened. His long-term friendship with her became a real romance, and he is very happy,” another tipster is quoted as saying.
Ashton and Demi’s 6-year marriage ended when he got busted for cheating on her on their wedding anniversary. The girl he slept with sold her story to the tabloids and, what’s worse, she wasn’t the first to claim to have slept with him.
Demi filed for divorce months after the separation and is now said to be asking for more money from him.
